695846ea4d Now it hardly hurts. Hopefully this will go away on it's own with little or no treatment. It comes when dead skin cells and other bacteria enter and gets trapped in the follicle, leading to bumps to form. But this week it is really sore, swollen and red. The incsiion is quite puffy and draining but again the nurse says not to worry about it. Exfoliate the the skin on the buttocks for at least once per week.
Putting off going to the ER because it is so expensive and cannot really afford that right now. With boils on your buttocks, you have to be cautious when showering. Do not delay seeking or disregard medical advice based on information written by any author on this site. Use very sparingly at least twice a day. Oh! If you get it done, you can NOT sit. After the first process has resolved, a persistent, hard and darkened pimple may remain under the skin. The sooner you see someone, the less a chance of the scar. Thank goodness i havent gotten one there since- i know how bad they hurt Sometimes i get smaller ones and they just go away after a few days- Did you find this post helpful? You marked this post as helpful! I changed my mind pengie replied June 2nd, 2008 Butt lump Hey, I think i have something very similar, and yes it is rather embarresing. If the abscess is small, antibiotics like metronidazole when given along with some anti-inflammatory medicine may provide relief. it's really sore, and it hurts to walk, and to sit if i move the wrong way.
